Ellie Josel CRNP
Ellie is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of pediatrics experience. She is originally from Phoenixville and received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Penn State University. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 5 years prior to earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing from The University of Pennsylvania in 2017.

Cameron Amirault MD
Dr. Cameron Amirault is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1999, Dr. Amirault graduated cum laude from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduation, Dr. Amirault decided on a medical career and completed the pre-medical post baccalaureate program at Harvard University Extension School. She then returned to her hometown of Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland Medical School. Dr. Amirault found that she was most fulfilled taking care of children and decided to pursue a career in pediatrics.
Michael Devon MD
Dr. Michael Devon is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in economics, then spent the next seven years teaching mathematics to junior and senior high school students in Manhattan and suburban Philadelphia. When it was time to make a change, and the teacher decided to become a student once again, he completed the pre-medical post baccalaureate program at Bryn Mawr College and then returned to the University of Pennsylvania to attend medical school. Finding once again that he enjoyed working with children and adolescents, he decided to pursue a career in pediatrics.
Grayton Downing, MD
Dr. Grayton Downing is originally from Delaware but received her undergraduate degree just down the street at Haverford College, where she played women’s lacrosse and majored in biology while minoring in psychology. After undergrad, she attended Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. While at Sidney Kimmel, Dr. Downing was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors society and the Hobart Amory Hare Medical Honors Society.
After medical school, Dr. Downing completed her pediatric residency at Nemours Children’s Hospital/Thomas Jefferson University. During her residency, she was on the Jefferson academic honor roll, and upon graduation, she was awarded the Matthew J. McDermott Award for dedication to all children in primary care as selected by primary care faculty.
Dr. Downing has always known she wanted to be a pediatrician and values caring for the whole family. She has a passion for working with newborns and first-time families as well as adolescents. She will be working with Advocare Newborn Network and also Advocare Main Line Pediatrics in their Narberth and Malvern offices.
Dr. Downing lives on the Main Line with her dog and her husband. In her free time, she loves exploring the local parks with her dog, running, baking, and enjoying local coffee shops. She is so grateful to be joining the Advocare team and cannot wait to help care for you and your family.
Stephanie Kahn, MD
Dr. Stephanie Kahn is a board-certified pediatrician. She is originally from Alexandria, VA. She received her bachelor’s degree from Haverford College, where she also ran varsity track. She worked as a research assistant at Nemours/Thomas Jefferson University for 2 years prior to earning her MD from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 2020.
Dr. Kahn completed her residency in pediatrics at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware/Thomas Jefferson University in 2023. At graduation, she was awarded the John W. Maroney, MD Award for Excellence in Ambulatory Care, which is given to one graduating pediatric resident by the primary care faculty for outstanding care of children in the outpatient setting. She also received the American Academy of Pediatrics Pennsylvania Chapter Award, which is awarded to one graduating pediatric resident by members of the PA AAP Chapter for providing outstanding care to the children of Pennsylvania. She was selected to be a chief pediatric resident and completed this one year position in 2024.
Kristen Kucharczuk MD
Dr. Kristen Kucharczuk is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. A 1991 magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Kucharczuk was awarded a National Institute of Health Medical Scientist Training Program grant to pursue dual degrees in science and medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1998, she completed her MD along with a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology. At Penn she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society and was awarded both the American Women in Medicine Association Scholarship award and the Loewenburg Prize for Excellence in Pediatrics. She completed her residency in pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she remained on staff as a primary care pediatrician for eleven years prior to joining Advocare Main Line Pediatrics in August of 2012.
Burton H. Langer MD
Dr. Burton H. Langer is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduated from Cheltenham High School, and attended LaSalle University on a full academic scholarship, earning a bachelor's degree in biology maxima cum laude with general college honors. He received his doctorate of medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Rachel Michalek, CRNP
Rachel Michalek is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Masters’s degree from Villanova University where she studied primary care and her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the PA-Delaware Valley National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners where she sits on the Community Outreach Committee.
Dallas Muthard CRNP
Dallas Muthard is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and member of both The National Association of Nurse Practitioners and The American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a proud magna cum laude graduate of La Salle University’s Honors Program, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree with a minor in English. While at LaSalle, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Honor Society of Alpha Epsilon. Dallas was awarded the 2009 Student Activity Achievement Award for her service and significant contributions to the LaSalle community and served on the Executive Board of the La Salle Ambassadors.
Joshua A. Rabinowitz DO
Dr. Joshua Rabinowitz received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and his doctor of osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians and a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. Since completing his residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in 1992, he has been practicing general pediatrics on the Main Line in suburban Philadelphia. He is currently a partner with Advocare Main Line Pediatrics and the founder/director of the Advocare Newborn Network.
